If you’re a tech-enabled team who needs to scale without overpaying for enterprise sales software, you’ve found the right sales tool.
We have updated and modernized the UI in our email templates settings, and we added an ability to duplicate a template.
While exporting data, you can now choose between common (i.e. most essential) fields and all fields (i.e. common fields as well as non-essential, mostly computed ones). Exports of only common fields are about 30% faster and the resulting CSV is much easier to digest.
While composing an email, you can now choose an Email Sequence that will be sent to the contact if they don't respond with certain timeframe.
Call dispositions communicate the outcome of a call, e.g. if it was answered, if a voicemail was left, etc. You can see them in the activity feed, search for them, and access them through our Call API. We also updated the activity feed UI to communicate the direction of calls more clearly.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a way of adding additional security on your account. 2FA requires you to enter an extra code when you log in or perform some account-sensitive action (e.g. changing your password). The code is generated from an application on your computer or mobile phone.
Email sequences lets you write a series of emails and schedule them to be automatically sent to prospects and leads over the course of days or weeks.
Close will now ask you about your experience after every call you make (or answer). This change includes a redesigned UI for reporting bad call quality and helps us notice, diagnose, and resolve your call quality issues much faster.
Calls in Lead page activity feed now include Dialer information (Power vs Predictive and which Smart View). Dialer calls can be graphed in Explorer and searched by Smart View name and method (regular, external, power dialer, predictive dialer).
Calls initiated by the Predictive Dialer that aren’t picked up are now automatically assigned to a user who was on the dialer at that time (rather than not being assigned to anybody).
The Call Quality Indicator is a visual indicator that there may be an issue with your call audio quality. It informs you when your Internet connection is unstable and when there may be an issue with your headset.
The Predictive Dialer lets your team collaboratively call a list of leads and connects leads that answer to an available person in the Predictive Dialer session. Unlike the Power Dialer, which calls one lead at a time, the Predictive Dialer can intelligently call multiple leads for each available sales rep, minimizing the time each rep spends waiting to be connected.
An organization's first Group Number can now be created directly from the Phone Settings page.
Perfect for onboarding new team members, the Product Guide details how to get the most out of all features of Close in one place.
The recording files for calls and voicemails are now only accessible by logged in users.
Improvements include:
Email subjects are now taken into consideration when determining if the email is an autoreply. Emails that are determined to be autoreplies, either by subject line or by header, are no longer counted as Opened or Responded in the Sent Email Report. Find more information on managing autoresponder replies in our support center.
Many problems related to audio devices are now fixed:
The Event Log API (previously only available for users on the Business plan) is now available for all users. This endpoint lets you view an audit log of all data changes made in Close.
Business users can now transfer calls to any of their verified external numbers, any group numbers in their organization or even a number entered on-the-fly.
A new option on the Power Dialer allows you to reduce the time spent waiting for calls to be answered before moving onto the next Lead. This is useful for prioritizing human reach rates when you don't intend to leave voicemail messages.
